If you spend anytime around heavy machinery or loud lawn mowing equipment, good hearing protection is an absolute must. I spend sometimes as much as 30 hours in a week on a mower or pushing a mower and need a way to protect my hearing. I wanted a way to be able listen to audio books and podcasts at a comfortable volume while sitting on the zero turn, and the 3M Worktunes are the answer
I can wear these for hours at a time, and listen to the quietest audio book or podcast without needing to have the volume cranked, which defeats the purpose or hearing protection in the first place.
Why do I love these, they are comfortable, the battery life is incredible, they are rechargeable and there are no cords to mess with. They are better at canceling noise than most other over the ear protectors i have found and they play music what isn’t to love. So if you are looking for a pair of headphones to wear to drown out noise and listen to books with these are what you are looking for.
One upgrade i made, having little hair left and keeping it short, the head band scratched my head a bit, so on recommendation of a YouTube comment i picked up a band wrap/protector and it fixed the one tiny complaint I had with them.
